From the news I've caught up on, there seems to be a st to rf/composite converter. Could someone mail the address(es) of the company(ies) that make this type of device. Also, is there any info on converting a 520/1040 so the 68000 bus is open, like on the megas. It would make it much easier to add memory and the blitter (and other goodies). To Atari: How about yet _another_ OS for theST. If Beckemeyer's RTX is solid, I say supplement gem with it. We NEED a good inexpensive OS. As it is, the choice is between paying $$$$ for a workable multitasking system or getting by with a crippled os. Atari, wake up and realize that under the current OS, the ST is about as amazing as a PClone running at 10mhz. already, they have fake multitasking at a good price (for them a good price). Unless there is a clear advantage to getting an ST instead of the "Industry standard" why get an ST? If I'm going to pay $1500 for a Mega 2, I expect more than something that barely does better than a similarly price PClone. John Kawakami c60b-at@buddy.berkeley.edu
