[comp.sys.atari.st] Anybody know of Diverse Data's MEGACASE ST DELUX?

pauls@inco.UUCP (Paul Stygar) (02/09/88)

A few months ago I noticed a news item announcing that Diverse Data, Inc
was working on a product called a MEGACASE ST (and a MEGACASE ST DELUXE)
which supposedly let you put your 520ST (or 1040ST) motherboard in a box
that looked like a MEGA-ST, with a detachable keyboard, and maybe some
half-height slots and a power supply for hard-disk drive, floppy drive,
etc. Makes it easier to upgrade memory, etc.

Does anyone know anything about this product? The news item did't
include the address or phone for Diverse Data. Are there any other
products like this? I'm planning one of those do-it-yourself hard
disk drives, do-it-yourself 5 1/4 floppy, etc. and like many 520 ST
owners, would love to thrash that pile of power supplies. Please
email. I'll summarize if there's enuf interest.

Thanx in advance.
