Hi. I'm trying to hook up a Brother EP44 (typewriter cum matrix-printer cum
RS232) to an ATARI ST as a printer. Text prints fine, but in my documentation
(in japanese :-) there is no mention of graphics capabilities. I would need
to know if the EP44 has a graphics mode, and if yes, what escape sequences it
understands. Of course, if somebody has a printer driver for the ST and this
printer ... .

The English language documentation for my EP44 has several pages on international character sets and other information but NO MENTION of any graphics, bit image dump sort of capability. As far as I can tell the EP44 will not do it. There are quite a few EP44s in use for portable amateur radio packet stations in this area and I have never heard mention of the capability.
