Here's just a couple of quick questions: Does anyone know how to set the PATH= variable at boot time, such that the desktop can use it. I don't want to use a Shell to do this. ie. Say i write a resident program which contains my correctly formatted enviroment, what do i change system pointers etc. to make my enviroment the default one. Also what does GEM do to the desktop when it runs TOS and TTP programs, does it i). just close the desktop (wind_close) ii). disable the mouse (graf_mouse) iii). then enter text mode (??) if this is all it does, is it easy to undo and get the desktop back?
