DISTOMWC.PRG, posted here a little while ago, works fine for me with the exception of the ".ascii" lines in the data file. The problem that I've found is that if the preceeding line of disassembly is longer than the line with the ".ascii" on it, the closing quote is followed by the remainder of the preceeding line on it. I suspect that it is a simple problem of forgetting to add the nul character to the buffer after building the string. Also, when absolute short addresses are used in some instructions, the syntax generated by DISTOMWC.PRG is addr:s. This is correct, but for some reason, MWC's AS.PRG (as shipped in 2.1.7) does not seem to recognize it. Since I maintain this program at MWC, I will be sure that this is fixed in release 3.0 (coming soon to a mailbox/store near you!). There are a few tricks that I would like to try and add to DISTOMWC.PRG, including reading MWC symbol tables and use of .blkb directives in .bssd and .long/.word directives in more places in .shrd. Are the sources available? If so, please reply to me via E-mail to one of the addresses in my .signature file. Thanks... Daniel A. Glasser Not speaking (in this case) for MWC -- Daniel A.
