My 1040 ST-F is labeled 1040 ST-FM on the bottom of the case. Does this mean that it has an RF modulator? I purchased it in July 1986. There was talk a while ago about some 1040 ST's that were manufactured with RF modulators. How can these systems be differentiated from a stock 1040ST? How can these systems be differentiated from a stock 1040ST? If your ST has a little RCA-type jack on the back, with a picture of a TV near it, you've got an RF modulator.
