[comp.sys.atari.st] USENET Access Required

andrew%GEORGE@FORSYTHE.STANFORD.EDU (Andrew G. Minter) (04/08/88)

I currently run the Bradford, UK server for public domain ST software. At
the moment, we have no access to USENET. This is unfortunate because it
means that we and our subscribers miss quite a lot of useful STuff.

Now the grovel...

Would anyone out there with a USENET machine in the UK that I can get at
over JANET be willing to let me have a tinsy winsy account? I'd be willing
to pay my way by giving access to a large quantity of BSD UNIX software I
have, and generally helping out (I have six years UNIX system programming
and system management experience). An initial trial period would be fine
and I would need hardly any disk space.

Remember, if you give me an account, you will also give access to a range of
ST software for a large number of folk who use our server.

Incidently, if you don't know about the server, write to me!

Thanks in advance,
