I have just been playing with the VC.TTP, both the version which is 85791 bytes, and except for the W,and T commands works well. 86126 bytes, which has the T command working but not the W command. The second one had the sources ARC'd with the program and a US Tax form. There were mods made by Robert Bond, dating back to a year ago. Does anyone know this gentleman? I would like to ask if anyone has gotten the W command to work. I can't seem to get it to print a file which can be viewed on the screen or printed out. Is there a way to print to the printer? Are the authors I listed above around on the net? -- ******************************************************************************* * euloth@dalcsug.uucp || Disclaimer: All opinions are my own unless other- * * /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ || wise noted. * ****AKA: Atari Nut*************************************************************

For those who are interested in the solution on printing with the VCTTP spreadsheet program, I got a message from Mark Lewis (lewis@istc.sri.com) which explained that he had found the same problem. Here is his solution : >I have noticed this problem. VC.TTP doesn't Write out the print >version, but saves the Put database version. I did find that I can get >around it for some strange reason if entries are added in the columns H >or beyond, off the screen to the right, which can later be removed with >delete column DC command. >Mark Lewis Thanks Mark. BTW, this only works with the 2.1.a version of the VCTTP but NOT with the 2.1 version of the VCTTP. I also have VC.TTP version 2.1.a (85791 bytes long) and I have managed to use
W correctly w/o extending the spread-sheet. At other times, it does cut off
somewhere around columns G or H. What I haven't managed is to get wide output;
VC seems to cut the printer output for a narrow printer into vertical blocks.
Any solution to this?
In my version, the @avg command doesn't work properly: I can't save it (P) to
a file since some parts of the program understand @avg and other @ave. If the
source is available on the net I would sure appreciate someone mailing it to
me. For what I want VC serves me well enough, but do better PD spreadsheet
programs exist for the ST?

I am looking for the source code to VC.TTP version 2.1.a (which is 85791 bytes
long). I have the source code for version 2.1 (sub-version of Robert Bond =
v. 1.1), so only the diffs would be necessary.
Thanks in advance. Reply directly, since I don't get the USENET newsgroups.
