If anyone has received information on how to access the blitter chip directly could they please pass it on to me or the net. Actually any info on the blitter would be of interest(ie. just how much memory can it really move in a given time frame). I do have the blitter installed in my Mega 2, and have written some prgs. to measure improved flood fills, etc., but they do not tell the whole story. later Barry

I would be interested in hearing about the blitter as well. Some points of interest would be : o What sort of operations can it perform on its source and destination? o What are the memory alignment restrictions if any? o How do the Blitter and 68000 share the bus? o What are parameters available to the blitter? o What does a blitter bus cycle look like? I think there is definitely an article possibility here that I would think would be very fun/interesting to write.
