Sorry to the rest of you... I can't get back to Adam from here... Hi... I've passed on your comment to one of the Edinburgh Regional Computing Centre staff and hopefully, I'll get an answer soon. I havent seen anyone on from NCR but have seen someone on from HP in south Queensferry (just out of Edinburgh)..so it must be possible. Just got the reply from the ERCC....he'd probably be best to get access to Janet (probably from Dundee) and from there access to bitnet is apparently quite cheap (coz IBM are paying for most of it). He should be able to get in touch with the Dundee computing service quite easily . Anyway, if you are coming past Edinburgh , there are a few places of interest. The Archimedes is all over Britain so if you find a half decent shop,it should sell the Archi. There is not a lot that we have that you dont...Its more likely to be the other way round... we get it about 50 years after you do ... Hey ho. Andie Ness .
