Richard Siegel from Carnegie Mellon University reported in the Usenet Mac .Digest (Vol 4,Issue 48) that they have experienced reliability problems with .3M brand floppies in their Macintosh computers. This has included such things .as oxide flaking off and damage to the drives themselves. Users here should .take this report into consideration when ordering floppies for their own use.
