It`s out! And it`s hot! The biggest group in Country and Western has put out its new album. The eagerly awaited "ROLL ON" album from ALABAMA has hit the shelves, and it`s hot stuff, Maynard. From the title cut through the end of side 2, it`s Alabama at their best. Many of the cuts were performed on their latest tour (I caught them here in Chic. and boy was I glad I did). Their 1st single, the title cut, is just rolling up the charts like mad. `Bama fans, if you haven`t bough it yet, what are you waiting for? Hope they win at the Grammys! Converted to country, Tom O`Connor P.S. Another great album is Crystal Gayle`s "Cage the Songbird". Not a bad tune on the album. "Sound of Goodbye" starts it off, and is followed by a good mixture of ballads and up-ish tempo songs. Check out "ON OUR WAY TO LOVE" on side 2 if you want to hear a superb love song. I hope it`s her next single.
