One of our 1040ST's is not working properly. It's a weird problem (they always are :-). It seems to work just fine until you run some programs or call up the Control Panel, then you get some bombs (approx 2 - 10). The GEM Desktop works fine and files can be copied with 100% integrity all over the place so the hard drive, floppy and DMA are OK. We have a 'Tracker' and plenty of machines to compare to, but if anyone can suggest what the possible fault is &/| a solution I would be very grateful. When the machine is back on its feet again the solution will of course be posted here.
