A year ago, I read some articles from people who were talking about
making enhancements to proff (a simple nroff subset, for those of you
who don't know what it is). The version of proff that I have dates
back to 1985 and it has always annoyed me that in underlined text, it
underlines the punctuation (unlike the nroff default). I could write
a trivial post-processor to clean this up, but it occurs to me that
someone may have fixed it in proff, as well as adding other nifty features.
Also, I posted a small set of ms macros for proff a couple years ago.
If anyone has expanded on the set I posted, I'd like a copy.
