[comp.sys.atari.st] Sounds Like Life?

Steve_Godun@rubbs1.UUCP (Steve Godun) (05/16/88)

Hmmm...Looks like the Atari ST section here has been getting (finally!) some messages. That's good. Too bad most of it pertains to nothing I know about! 8-)

Anyways, here comes a little advertising and a question. First the question.

Has anyone (else) reading this heard of Zmagazine and/or ST Report? It is a public domain electronic magazine (mostly Atari-oriented, although Zmag carries general computer news) that is distributed nationwide (as in across the USA and now in Sweden and Germany). I was just wondering if anyone out there is a regular reader, or has even heard of it. It has just started it's second year of weekly publication (100+ issues of Zmag; 30+ issues of ST Report) and is very popular. (Zmag is weekly; ST Report is

b
i-weekly.) If anyone is interested in it, it is available in CompuServe (it has its own file area), GEnie, Delphi, and (I think) The Source. You can download it from there or directly rom Zmagazine headquarters, the Syndicate BBS at 201-968-8148 (3/1200, running Carina II BBS).

Now for the advertising...

WANTED: Callers for The Graphics Dump BBS, 201-469-0049, to participate in the Atari section. I have been made co-sysop of that section and things (read: message activity) has been dwindling. There are files for 8-bit and ST alike, and is accessable via PC Pursuit (NJNEW). It runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and runs at 3/12/2400 baud. Call, ok? Good.
