I had the feeling that when I removed the internal drive on the 1040
for repair (top head has quit functioning) that it would default to
the double sided external...part of the chain, right? Wrong.
It just sat there looking around for the missing drive. Surprised me
so much that I'm asking anyone out there if they know the reason why.
Before the internal drive problems I had wanted to put an off switch
on there anyway so I could run two externals (testing purposes) but
now I'm not sure how to approach it.
