I was running dclck13 (a clock program that displays the time in the top right corner of the screen), and just to see how many cycles it used, I ran dhrystone. Where I normally get 1000, I got 900. The clock program was using 10% of the machine's power! Steven Pemberton, CWI, Amsterdam; steven@cwi.nl (or mcvax!steven.uucp)

Could somebody send me the dhrystone sources ? I don't have them and I'm not on Usenet. Thanks in advance, Hans Buurman mcvax!dutrun!duttnphg!hans (uucp)
