Well, you saw what Atari wants dealers to do in order to sell Mega.
Good luck. I really hope they know what they are doing, it seems sheer
suicide.

See above.

The new ROMs will be available after the current phase of beta
testing, which started at the beginning of this month according to
various messages (which were posted here too). But "soon" can mean
anything with Atari. Sheesh...

I use my SH205 since October 1987 and it is half-full now (or still
half-empty :-) ). Never had a problem. Get a back-up program
(BACKUP! by Michtron is nice, but I was told that Turtle (PD)
is much better) and a goot hard-disk boot (allowing you to
boot accessory and Auto folder from C:).
Beware, most of the RAM disk programs create a C: Ram Disk which is
incompatible with a hard-disk. See if yours are well-behaved.

If you use an HP DeskJet, buy Migraph EasyDraw 2.3 with EasyTools.
You can produce some very nice newsletters and flyers with little time
and effort. I am very satisfied of Migraph customer support. They
even helped me when I had a problem with UPS for delivering these
packages! You can purchase the DeskJet driver from them, along with
screen copy programs (mono and color). I highly recommand EasyDraw 2
with the DeskJet.
