There are several companies which sell adapter boards to allow you to use a standard Adaptec-type controller board and ST-506 compatible hard drive. By far the best is from ICB, (they also make some nice third party ST hard drive subsystems). This board comes with good documentation, all of the necessary cabling, and a really good formatting program to configure the board for a wide variety of controller and disk combinations. Any Atari dealer should be able to order this for you through CSS/Apex. Devon
