i'm looking to correspond with anybody who has successfully set up
their atari st as a uucp site to receive netnews. i have most of the
important ingredients, including the hardware and a feed - but i need
to become educated about what software is available and required, what
flavor of the news software is most appropriate (or better yet,
already ported), what pitfalls await me, etc.
i am aware (in name only) of uupc, and have heard of at least one
other PD uucp clone. i'm unix-sophisticated, uucp literate, and an
utter novice in the area of news administration.
if you think you can help me, i'd greatly appreciate hearing from you.
