I saw a icone2 programm running on a MEGA ST. I was told that icone runs only on MEGA STs, but it was really nice, so I decided to copy it ignoring the fact that I own an 1040 ST. Because my ST is upgraded to 2 MB, I hoped that icone2 would also run on my computer. But I only got two bombs... So I'd like to know why some programms run only on one machine type, but not on the other. Further, are there any "compilers" which produce an ST executeable file from a MEGA ST executeable file? Perhaps, there are only some memory addresses to be changed?! Anyway, I'd like to get an version of icone2 which runs on my 1040 ST. Is anyone able to help? Ingolf Markhof.
