Does anyone happen to know if the updated version of LightSpeed Pascal (v1.11, I believe), which now runs on the Mac II, runs on the Magic Sac or not? I'm considering porting our Omni-Banker ST program (a universal MIDI librarian) to the Macintosh, and need to decide between LightSpeed and Turbo Pascal. If LightSpeed Pascal still does not run on the Sac, that simplifies my choice somewhat. :-) - Mark O'Bryan, Paradigm Software Products

The updates made to LightSpeed Pascal for the Mac II were not related to what ROM version it requires. Turbo Pascal doesn't require the 128K ROMs so it will run on the current Magic Sac. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dan Moore AT&T Denver ihnp4!druhi!dlm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dan Moore said that Lightspeed C didn't run on the 64K Magic Sac. It does as of version 2.15 (I wrote an enhanced MagicBeep in it!). 3.0 (just started shipping) does require the 128K's though.
