[comp.sys.atari.st] UniTerm Kermit "File Attributes" questions

R_Tim_Coslet@cup.portal.com (07/25/88)

To Simon Poole:

I have some questions about UniTerm Kermit.

The documentation says that UniTerm Kermit "Handles File Attributes".
What does UniTerm Kermit do with the Attributes given in the 'A' packets?

I am still extending my Kermit-UCSD and was adding "Attribute Packets"
today (the only attribute I implemented was the "Creation Date":
Attribute '#'). UniTerm Kermit appeared to act as if the contents of the
'A' packet had been interpreted as contents of just another 'D' packet
(it just put the data from the 'A' packet into the file rather than
setting the date of the file).

Is this the "normal" behavior of UniTerm Kermit on 'A' packets?
