Howdy again, time for a somewhat naive question on my part. I've had my eye on one of those 16MHz speedups for my ST for awhile, but I'm really not sure how well it'll perform. Considering the clock speed, that'd mean data has to be ready 125ns after a request. Using 100ns DRAMs, that means you have a mere 25ns for address decoding & such. Anyone know how fast the ST's decoding logic runs? Am I doomed to the abominable wait-state, or will 80ns RAMs suffice, or ...? -- / /_ , ,_.
