Hi -- I have a VDI programming problem, but first things first. We at Prime just got our outbound news allegedly turned on (I know, I can already hear you groaning) and I'd like to know if this reaches the outside world. So please send me mail at the address below, with or without the answer, and I'll guarantee to reply to anything that I receive on or before Friday 8/19. Another meta-question: does Atari run a service for non-registered developers to call with programming questions? I'm trying to mark a spot on the screen with a colored cross, then erase it again -- in other words, a XOR operation. v_pmarker with writing mode set to XOR produces an XOR-ed black cross (with writing mode REPLACE, we get the right color, but of course I can't erase it). vrt_cpyfm, REPLACE mode, also does a XOR-ed cross. XOR mode does nothing. vro_cpyfm does the trick. Have I found known bugs (probably related) in v_pmarker and vrt_cpyfm? I checked the bindings; they look OK (Mark Johnson C, with the vrt_cpyfm binding corrected). ROMs are 11/20; GEM lessons from Tim Oren. Mail replies please; I'll post anything interesting. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ David Brooks Internet: BROOKS@CSSS-A.PRIME.COM uucp: {mit-eddie,uunet}!csss-a.prime.com!brooks Signature on file.
