I have a Checkbook/Budget program that I wrote for the St. This program was designed to make computer checking easier than hand checking. This program will: *Print on checks *Maintain a checkbook database *Includes a emacs like data base editor *Flags each database transaction as a check, deposit or budget item. *Maintain a separate list of budget items and check items *Balance checkbook *Perform global database editing, (i.e. change the month on a group of items etc.) After I add a checkbook interface to enable people to write on their particular checks, I will post this program. I use fan fold checks. The budget part of this program is based upon the idea that most of my budget can be computed via my check. Actually, the budget part of the program is more like expense monitoring. It allows each transaction (i.e. deposit, check, or budget item) to be part of the "budget".
