A couple of months back the ST-Unix Toolkit was posted on the net. I
enjoy it a lot, and have just recently tried to use its MAKE.PRG. If
I type "make foo.prg" and the program is up to date, it says that the
make is unnecessary, which is proper. If it is necessary to make the
program, I get the message "Make: cannot find file or directory" or
some such. I have tried from the gulam shell, from COMMAND.TOS, or
putting the compiler on PATH, or defining make's CC and CC2 variables
in a MAKEFILE. In the latter case, I don't get the message anymore,
but I get 2 bombs (Bus Error).
Has anyone gotten this Make to work? Does anybody see what I'm doing
wrong? Is there a more recent version of this Make? Any help would
be appreciated. Since I don't get the USENET newsgroups, just the
ARPA info-atari16 digest, please reply to me directly (or the digest)
and of course I'll summarize if there's enough interest.
