In the previous picture formats list I wrote that the MacPaint header is: 1 long version number (if zero, header is ignored) 38 * 2 longs pattern data (anyone know how to use this?) 51 longs reserved Jim McCabe has observed that MacPaint files have 160-longword headers, not 128-longword headers (as I had it). Anyone know: A) Where the extra 32 longwords have gone? B) How to use the pattern data? ] There seem to be a few problems with Tiny as well. Anyone have a good idea what has happened to the Tiny format (so that there are now Tiny format pictures which don't meet David Mumper's original Tiny format spec). It seems that there are some extra zeroes in the headers of these "mutated" pictures. What's the deal? Dave
