Can anyone o Can anyone see a reason why this should not work. Why not replace the 8 meg 68000 in the ST with a faster 10-16 meg part. Cut the trace to pin 15 (the 8 meg clock) and replace it with either a system generated 16 meg clock ( one goes to the MMU already) or a external clock. This way only the 68000 will be speeded up providing faster cpu operations, memory accesses will still be at 8 meg so you don't have to replace ram, and I/O operations will also be at 8 MHz. - Kinda like the older ibm pc speedups. /leonard

I can't say that it won't work, because it WILL work.
