Hello, I have a problem to try to connect the Thomson 4120 Color monitor to my 1040 ST. After weeks of experiments, I finally got the screen up. However, the screen is jumping vertically. I can't never stop it. My connection parts included a ST monitor cable from Pratical Solution and 2 didodes (4001) for both H-sync and V-sync to the composite sync of Thomson. (I used Thomson RGB Analog mode for connection.) Can somebody in Netland tell me what to do, please. Thx

Well, here is my solution, probably not the best, and I am working on a better one. E-mail or post me a message for a better idea. I tried your method, to no avail, so I ended up hooking the following pins together ATARI-->THOMSON (I did this in RGB, not RGBI mode). 1. HSYNC CompSYNC 2. R,G,B R,G,B 3. Grounds Grounds 4. I had to put the ChangeHZ.prg in the auto folder to stop the screen from flipping. Y.I.T.B.O.S. Ernest C. Spieu! glk2462@uiucuxf

NEW NEWS: Thomson was very friendly on the phone at 714-835-0846. The solution is as follows: Vsync----300 Ohm R----. \Pin 7 / (Comp Sync) Hsync----300 Ohm R----' Y.I.T.B.O.S. Ernest C. Spieu! glk2462@uiucuxf
