A friend of mine asks the following: does anyone know how to get past the pendulum in Barbarians? I've tried running, jumping, etc. in every conceivable combination. What gives? In order to get past the swinging pendulum in Barbarian, you must duck, just as the rock is about to come 'round and bash your skull. You do this by using the 'pick up' function on the second screen of icons. Try that. Sean Parham ACM at University of Illinois

If this is the rotating "pendulum" after about 40% of the game, all it
takes is ducking using G for Get and the right timing (duck then walk,
duck and walk, etc.). I hope this helps.
