[comp.sys.atari.st] Info wanted/Replacement Policy

MLS@s40.prime.COM (11/01/88)

Can domsomebody please post the Atari replacement policy, or the phone #
of someone I can contact at Atari. I'm beginning to get really annoyed.
If I don't get satisfaction from them, I'm going to trash my ST and get
an Amiga. The St's a great machine, but it's not worth the aggravation!
Three disk drives in less than 2 years and dealing with a multitude of
incompetent service centers is too much to deal with.
Why IS CompuClub in Framingham still an authorized dealer anyway?
Shouldn't their customers be warned that Atari gives them slow service
because they don't pay their bills? I think it's very unfair to all of
us who have been promised service in a week, and have had to wait close
to two months for repair because Atari fails to send the parts.
The other two places I went to on Massachusetts weren't much better. At
least Compuclub did finally fix my drive last year!
