re: EDST, C compiler and help This is my first attempt at proper E-Mail, so if this is read by anyone I'll be amazed. Can I talk anyone into buying a copy of my editor EDST for the ST, its very cheap 12 pounds sterling, features include: o 4 Windows open at any time o Full GEM access o Cut and Paste o search/Replace o Auto backup and cumulative editting time saved (option) o Full MS-DOS like shell runs in a window, allows you to run compilers linkers etc. Full list of commands, including batch files with expression evaluation. I use it with Megamax C all the time, but Lattice et al should be no problem. Address follows: Robert Chafer (Chalm Software) 61 Southey Green Road Sheffield S5 8GU England Now for a few queries: 1. Does anyone have a full list of ST OS bugs, and how to get round them 2. I have a Citizen DSDD drive that keeps giving read errors and won't format past about track 70. This all seemed to stem from using PC-Ditto, which seems to really hammer drives. I am currently writing a new C compiler based on the Turbo C style, this should retail at about 55 pounds sterling and should be the fastest compiler around. Anybody have any suggestions for features they would like? (any resonable offer considered). This will also be ported to the Amiga and the ST version should be around early next year ('cause most of it is written). Has anyone out there in ST land had any experience with Turbo-ST the software blitter, I've heard it can be a bit flakey.
