Here is an article quoted from the german newspaper "DIE WELT" from 09.11.1988, translated to my version of 'german' English: "The rising of the video game and homecomputer manufacturer Atari into the area of scientific workstations is late. According to Atari's head Jack Tramiel the company is working on a workstation on the basis of the Inmos Transputer T-800, a chip for - especially fast - parallel processing. For the planned operating system Helios which is developed by the british firm Perihelion Software Ltd. was not ready in time, the release of the Atari computer is delayed until 1989. Bad luck Atari also had in finding a name for the high-performance-computer: The name 'Abaq' is already reserved by a belgian company."
