[comp.sys.atari.st] Recommendations - European MIDI Software Distributors?

Mark_OBryan@UM.CC.UMICH.EDU (11/20/88)

Could any of the European readers of this newsgroup give me some idea
of which MIDI software distributors in their countries they feel are
doing a good job of supporting and promoting their products?

We've been selling our "universal" MIDI librarian program, Omni-Banker ST,
directly to customers both foreign and domestic, for about a year now.
With the number of foreign orders rising substantially, we're considering
getting distributors in each country to handle the product. This would
be more convenient for our customers, who would avoid the hassle of get-
ting international money orders and the delay of even 1st class Air mail.

We're primarily interested in countries like England, Sweden, Norway,
Germany, and the Netherlands, where our sales have been the strongest.
But other suggestions would also be appreciated in reaching new markets,
especially since European Atari ST sales are (supposedly) so strong.

We have had inquiries and offers from several European interests.
The problem is, we don't know which distributors in Europe are doing a
good job. And we'd like to find those with high standards of quality.

Thanks very much for any input you may provide. It would probably be
best to reply directly to me (where possible), and if others are inter-
ested (anybody?), I'd be happy to summarize to the net.
