I've been looking around for a schematic for the 1040 with no luck. What I would like to do is hook up a composite mono monitor that I have to my ST. I am not sure what type of signal the "mono detect" is looking for, the monitor that I have has standard RCA connections. Is there a way to rig up the cable or ST so that I can use the high rez mode with this monitor. Or even better is there a way to hack the SC1224 monitor to work in high rez. I am getting tired of eye strain from reading text on the SC1224 and if possible would like to avoid the expense of an Atari mono monitor. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
