[] The reports about Turbo C for the ST sound very good: may be stiff competition for Laser C (not to mention MWC). I use Turbo C on IBM compatibles and love it. Meanwhile maybe I should report that I have tested the upcoming Laser C debugger, LDB, in beta version, last month. It is very nice. Debugs BOTH source and assembly level at once. Somewhat similar, in source mode, to the source level debugger of Turbo C 2.0 (MS-DOS). It's a joy (and a pain :-) to have so many fine tools for the ST, finally. With the drive towards the ANSI standard there will hopefully be more compatibility among compilers as far as library functions. (Unfortunately, system-specific extensions are not standard...) - Moshe Braner
