I will be visiting Boston around the end of October. Can someone give me an answer to the following vital questions: 1. What's the wheather like in Boston around that time? 2. What will be an interesting way to spend my free evenings there? Hubert van Dongen Oce-Nederland {seismo,decvax,ucbvax,philabs}!mcvax!oce-rd1!hmd

A sweater and a light top jacket should take care of most evenings. > 2. What will be an interesting way to spend my free evenings there? There are lots of things to do at Boston. Buy a Boston Globe on Thursdays; their "Calendar" tabloid section is a good guide on what to do. Similarly, the "Boston Phoenix" weekly newspaper lists current events. The Boston area is rich in clubs, museums, and theater. Having a student population of over a million helps to keep things diverse. -- /Steve Dyer {harvard,seismo}!bbnccv!bbncc5!sdyer sdyer@bbncc5.ARPA
