Say, this multi-tasker has really gotten a lot nicer in the year or so since I last saw it. Thanks very much, Fred Brooks! At this moment I'm posting news via KA9Q running as a subprocess under MX2. This is pretty slick; I can leave the SMTP mail server running all the time and still use my machine for local work. I think a reasonable next step could be to move this KA9Q code into a shared library, or at least pieces of it. Is anyone else using this stuff? Minix is nice, with a real filesystem and all, but it's too slow. Nifty programs like this make me believe working with TOS isn't a lot cause after all... -- / /_ , ,_.
