[net.music] Candy Gibens, of Zephyr, dead at 37

That's really too bad. That may mean the end of the legendary
4-Nikators as well, as Candy was also their lead singer in addition
to her work with Zephyr. For those who don't know, the 4-Nikators are
a rowdy local band (in Boulder) that's mediocre musically, and their jokes are
*terrible*, but they put on a good show and have lots of energy. They
may miss Candy less than Zephyr, however. I hope they replace her. The
Boulder club scene would be dulled considerably if the 4-Nikators were no more.

The version of "St. James Infirmary" by Zephyr cuts any other
version I've ever heard, including Louis Armstrong's.
