I have had problems with GFA DRAFT PLUS, which is a full GEM based cad program.
I have been trying to print in color with STAR LC 10 color printer, without
success. I have also made a driver for COMX PL80 plotter and
with that plotter I have succceeded to print color printouts.
There is no driver for STAR LC 10 printer in my version (1.5E) of GFA
DRAFT PLUS. Does anyone know if this is the latest version?
I have modified GFA DRAFT'S IBM driver to suit for Star LC 10 and I
have got it working allright with black and white printouts. But when I
try to print in color it always comes out black and white. Yes, I do have a
color ribbon installed.
I have made the following changes to the IBM driver:
number of colors=7\
Color choice string=^]r\.
I found out form Star's hex dump that GFA DRAFT DOESN'T EAVEN SEND THE COLOR
CHOICE STRING TO THE PRINTER. The manual says that it is possible to
print in color with GFA DRAFT, so is there anyone who has been able
to print in color with GFA DRAFT with any color printer?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
P.S. I have heard about cad program called DIANA cad, does anyone know
if it is more powerful than GFA DRAFT PLUS?
