Does anyone know of a public domain hard disk driver, which supports more than 4 partititions on a hard disk. I am going to add a Mega- file 60 to my 40 MB disk and don't want to have only 16 MB partiti- tions. By the way: The sond of Megafile 60 is even more powerful than good old SH205/SH204. Thanx in advance uli

I am unaware of ANY public-domain hard disk drivers, but I believe that both ICD and Supra have posted their complete software on the pay services (Genie/CI$/Delphi). The Atari-based software will only permit 4 partitions per drive, while ICD & Supra use an "extended format" partition table (in phys sector 0) which permits up to 8 partitions per drive. I believe that Supra will sell just the software. ...walt... -- Walt Weber Apollo Computer (508) 256-6600 x7165 People's Republic of Massachusetts -The views expressed herein are personal, and not necessarily Apollo's-
