[comp.sys.atari.st] request for ftp sites

pmartin@ucqais.uc.edu (Paul Martin) (01/29/89)

I know that this has been asked many, many, many times before but here it goes.
Can someone please e-mail me a copy of the anonymous ftp sites that have
software from this news group.

Thank you in advance

Me too! Also, a short description of HOW to ftp would be nice. I've been
hearing a lot about it lately and would appreciate being able to do it.

Thanks!

Well, I wrote up a doc on how to connect to our archive, (PC7)
and ftp files. It was called "Jon Brode's FTP Cookbook".
I had it on my Uniterm disk so that it would be easy to upload
should the need ever arise again. Luckily, one of my apartment
mates decided he needed a wizard's crown save disk more than I
needed a terminal disk. Thus, I no longer have a copy of it.

If you have a copy of it lying aroung, please mail it to me. I'll
make some revisions and re-post it. Thanks.
