I've been poking at the uupc source that Steve Grimm posted a while ago. I
live near an anonymous uucp archive site, so my first priority was merging in
the existing Amiga [gasp] code to instruct the slave that the master wants to
receive a file. It seems to be working ok now. Next step is probably some
work on the mail and file-transfer front end (probably stealing the Amiga code
again). I'm not about to pass my present code to non-crazies; it's ugly as all
getout, full of debug stuff, and it involves writing uucico workfiles by hand.
What I'd like is if someone has a front end (or heaven help us, a smart routing
back end) going on the ST (1 meg or less preferred) and could use the stuff I
have, let's get together with the different parts. Some of my friends have
visions of elm and smail attached to dcp. Sure, sure, but it'll take help.
