I've been trying to acquire a 60Mb Supra drive for my 1040, but there seems to be a supply problem... The 'offical' UK Supra importer says that they will have them in stock in 'ten working days', but that they won't be able to quote a price because Atari are just launching their own 60M disk. The Atari disk is supposed to be cheaper than the Supra, so Supra may need to modify their price, to hold the market. Does anyone know more about this ?? Specifically, is the Atari disk still slower and/or louder than the Supra ?? How much of a price drop can I expect ?? How long will it take for Atari to get their act together and announce a price ?? I'm after a 60M drive because I want to use TOS + Minix + Aladin with about 20M each. I'd get a bigger disk, but I don't have the money... Thanks in advance...
