For anyone that is interested, the name of the band which broke up for fear of becoming commerical or 'like those other bands' was the Jam. They split up in January of last year (1983). Paul Weller, the lead singer/guitarist for the group has now formed some jazz band, although I haven't heard anything about them. "It's too bad.", they were a fantastic group. Funny thing about them is that were really big in Britian, but never seemed to make it in America. Must be that damn 'pop' american music (vrai merde). Why is it that all the good music comes from Britian? -- Sean Byrne Memorial University of NF St. John's, Nfld UUCP: {allegra, ihnp4, utcsrgv}!garfield!sean
