I am considering purchasing the word processing WordUp to use to prepare a user's guide for a program. In order for this program to be useful to me, I must be able to import DEGAS (.pi3) graphics (which the advertisement says is possible), use attractive fonts of different point sizes, be able to type in math symbols (e.g. the little o for degrees, etc). Also, I must be able to get output on at least an EPSON FX80 compatible laser printer, a Panasonic 1091 (FX80 compatible), and an Atari laser printer. Since I have a 520 ST, I'm concerned about running out of memory (especially considering that I will be including many graphic images in the document). How can cope with a file that is larger than the available memory - is there a way to chain files, or a file inclusion mechanism (a la #include)? I have both color and monochrome monitors, but for word processing I prefer the monochrome. Does this product have bugs associated with monochrome (like MS Write)? Is two column mode supported? Is there some way to automatically generate an index or table of contents? Thanks in advance, Eric Terrell (att!druhi!terrell)
