The access price is $5/hour in the evening (1200 bauds), so it is very affordable. The hourly rate for 2400 bauds raises to $12.50, but you pay more than that for CompuServe at 1200 bauds anyway. It has almost 10000 files in the ST roundtable and my best PD and shareware, along with my prettiest pictures and my greatest digitalized sounds, come from here. Re: GEnie sign-up - here is how to do it and save the $29.95 sign-up fee! Set modem to 1200, 8, half, no Dial 1-800-638-6369 at the U#= type 'XJM11775,SIGNUP' Give the relevant info and your set! I canm't guarantee that this works everywhere or that its still a valid offer but its worth a shot... Pete
