This may be off the wall (and I'm sure someone will let me know if it is), but I was wondering about emulating the ST on a Macintosh. I'm not thinking about doing it mind you, but I was just thinking about how nice it is to be able to work on Mac programs at work on a Mac and at home on an ST with the MagicSac, and was thinking that it would be nice to be able to work on ST programs at home and at work, too. Well, if it isn't off the wall, maybe someone out there will do it.?.?

I don't it will ever be done. Two immediate problems are screen size, you can easily (don't hit me Dave!) make a Mac screen appear on a bigger ST monitor, but how do you shrink a ST screen to fit a Mac? Also, I don't believe that there is any way for the Mac to accomodate ST disks since they vary disk speed. Not to mention that Mac disk access and screen refresh are already slow, ST emulation would turn the Mac from a clever turtle to a clever turtle with its legs cut off! :=] Pete
