I've been trying, again, to compile uupc under MWC. This time I thought I'd be clever and use the VARIANT options -VCNEST and -VSUVAR. Here is what the manual sez: -VCNEST Allow nested comments. Default is off. -VSUVAR Strict: note unused variables. Default is on. Well, my compiler (MWC v3.0.6, called from make), complains that option "-CNEST" is not defined, turns on VERBOSE (-V) mode, and continues complaining about nested comments and unused variables! Can someone explain to me what is going on here? Am I doing something wrong or is my compiler just being obnoxious? Thanks, -c |Chip Roberson ARPANET: csrobe@cs.wm.edu | |Dept of Comp.
